Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

    Good Morning! 6.4 at 0800.
    My fbgs do average around 6.3, but I think it is my highest reading of day. I tested at 8.30pm last night, before eating, and reading was 4.8.

    5.2 this morning much earlier @ 5.30 today not even cricket to watch. Quite pleased with the fbg as I suspect the red cabbage at yesterday's meal had sugar in it. Certainly had lots of cinnamon and some raisins but no apples. The white wine sauce with the mussels was about the best I have had. Stay warm folks - think I need to be in the firewood business this week prices might rise steeply!
    @goonergal apologies if I jinxed it but it does seem as if they will buy lots of silverware this year.

    I’m sure I’m not the only one who takes a few readings once in a while!
    8.8 : 9.6. 9.0. 10.1. All sequential readings. Tested my Codefree meter all good, so I am averaging around 9.2 ish! I’m no longer going to worry about .2 .3 .4 .5 .6 difference maybe as this can sometimes spoil my morning and/or day and get me obsessed with diabetes - not good! Have a great day everyone!!!
