Thanks @Hiitsme ☺ must admit at being amazed at how well the lchf works, and at myself for managing to achieve this in such a short time! Fingers crossed that I can sustain the same progress by my next blood tests! I do find it hard to keep my carbs so low sometimes, and I can always see in my bg, when I have made a mistake or been over my limit. I had wondered if an extra dose of metformin in the morning, instead of just at night, might help? Any ideas?
Thanks @TooManyCrisps it makes such a difference to me that folks are so helpful and supportive on here... hope I can help folks like this! ☺
@TooManyCrisps - Well Done You, fantastic result. You are in the Prediabetic Category with 43. = yippee
Thanks @ickihun did some experimenting with a shepherds pie with swede instead of mash and did spike me a little . Thanks for the tip of the protein supper has helped get my morning levels down and stable for the first time since diagnosed
Thanks @paula.nolan42 I have shocked myself! ☺ a fair way to go with my weight yet, but I am determined to get to within my "normal" range.
6.3 at 6.45 am, and 5.8 at9am after breakfast. Was a bit higher than normal all day yesterday, and today I've been completely out of it - some evil diabetes fairy must have sneaked knockout drops into my veins... I assume I've got some sort of a bug. Robbity
Can I ask users of this thread to stay on topic. This thread is for fasting bg results and is not a general chat thread. We had this problem before and people were given a general chat thread to use for that purpose. Lots of people are assisted by posting their FBG and it would be a shame to close the thread.
Good morning Fbg = 6.4 @ 0635 Still waiting for new grandson. Have been looking after 2 yo grandson yesterday and today. Could be a bit of 'stress', maybe. Ha! Ha!
