Spiders - especially the big black ones!
Are there any dangers for DBs taking Vitamin E?
I have just read a somewhat passing comment to say this is so.
Any advice please?

Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)
Hi foxglove, it is generally agreed that it is better to get your vitamins, minerals and nutrients naturally from the food we eat and unless you have been told by a doctor that you are deficient in vitamin E then you are probably wasting your time and money by taking vitamin supplements, you could even be doing some damage.

There was some research in the 80's and 90's that linked vitamin E supplements with coronary heart disease although subsequent tests done later could not verify nor refute the earlier research.

Foods containing vitamin E include:

almonds
peanuts
wheat germ
cereal grains
turnips
broccoli
spinach
leafy greens
peaches
strawberries
egg yolks
milk and diary produce
liver

Surely enough choice there for anyone regardless of diet

Is there a reason you think you are deficient in Vitamin E?
