Weight gain and Beta Blockers.

Many of us are prescribed beta blockers. If you google "Weight gain, beta blockers" you will see that for some they cause weight gain.

Thats very interesting Catherine . I take 50mg of Atenolol for familial hypertension , cant seem to get my BP lower than 135/75 despite now being slim, fit and active , its a blinkin nuisance . However, about four years ago , I was on a much higher dose which, my current Doctor tells me " could " have contributed to becomming diabetic from my previous pre diabetic status and also maybe contributed to weight gain . I have lost 5 stones over the last 18 months , by low carb , got my BG under control but cant control the BP without Beta Blockers .
