Ha ha, we had the usual conversation a couple of weeks ago - you buying a card? Nope! Solves a lot of problems

    I’ll get my coat.
Got to go shopping this morning.
I suppose everyone will be buying flowers and a card for their loved ones.

A bit grey and grotty down here - seekers of an arcane experience should have been in our garden at 7.00 am this morning if they wanted to see a middle aged man in his dressing gown picking flowers to put on the dining room table before his spouse woke up

I've also managed to get my bloods taken this morning after yesterday's debacle. The place was practically empty and I waited five minutes.

In other news, Fergus is enjoying the benefits of our new boiler....

... and Cooper is mystified by all the frog activity :)

Have exchanged valentines cards and gifts

I got some after shave and a box of Lindt choccies (they won’t last long)

I gifted some perfume, choccies and a necklace and will cook us a romantic meal tonight or maybe go to the chippy instead lol

    I don't think he even realises they're edible :)

One of our neighbour's cats has a penchant for frogspawn, but to be honest, the whole theory behind spawn is that there's loads of it produced, on the basis that most of it won't survive to full frog-dom, so we tend to be philosophical about it.

You old smoothie, you sure know how to give a girl a good time :)

I got a card, and tickets to see a production of Great Expectations, starring Nicola McAuliffe.

Yes, because that wouldn't be at all weird for a 64-year-old Granny in a moon boot and crutches would it...?
Standing up too quickly from a reclining position is likely to give me a nosebleed! :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
Having said that, I've seen some of those pipe tricks you mention - it's astonishing what can be achieved with 12" of lead..!
