I hope the surgery went well.Bit of a rush this morning - by the time I got Em up, showered and breakfasted, then got my own shower, I had about 2 minutes left for breakfast before going to get my rebandaging done. So breakfast was 2 RyVita with cold bacon (I'd given Em bacon and egg, but she left the bacon). Filled a gap!
Can't remember if I actually took my basal insulin this morning so I am assuming that I did - BG is still only around 7.
2nd meal today: cold roast chicken and some more of the cabbage/carrot stir fry.
DIL will be having her surgery at the moment so hoping that it will go well. The surgeon told her it was risky and there was a reasonable chance that it would lead to paralysis. However, if she didn't have it done, that would definitely lead to paralysis. Hobson's choice really....
It did go well and she has completely recovered thanks.I hope the surgery went well.
i just noticed I somehow ended up on last years posts, not the current ones. My apologies.
It looks lovely. I made some curries earlier, which are in the fridge, one of which I'll have tomorrow. Tonight I had sirloin steak, mushrooms and peas. I didn't post a picture because it didn't look all that good. Besides, I'm sure I've posted similar pictures before.Dinner: chicken Balti curry with cauliflower rice.
