Been too busy to record food last few days. Got family visiting and the never ending round of cooking/clearing up has left little time for any socialising, never mind record keeping. Parents and baby left two days ago, leaving us the two girls. However one has a gluten intolerance, so home cooking is still the best option. Today she developed red, itchy, puffy eyes. Parents now reminded of previous occasions with dust, hayfever and cat allergy - any one of which could be the culprit. Out for tbe day to a retro agri festival( it has finally stopped raining) girls seemed to enjoy it, loved the steam engines and old cars, army vehicles and watched fascinated the demonstrations of previous farming methods. It was only later when the younger developed angry red blotches that we thought of the amount of wheat dust in the air.
