I've combined the broccoli with the leftover Christmas cheese to make soup. Something else with blue cheese is: http://www.lovebritishfood.co.uk/recipes/beef-silton-pie Just leave off the pastry (and adjust other ingredients as necessary) and top with cauli mash instead.Still off work with this cold/chest infection, so:
Breakfast: Nothing
Lunch: 2 high meat chipolatas and 35g Wensleydale - eaten at different times so probably more like two snacks.
Dinner: Ribeye steak with Blue Cheese (Dolce Latte I think its called) on top, stir fry of pak choi, mangetout, baby courgettes, baby fennel and, quite possibly, a bit of broccoli to bulk it out
Does anyone else find broccoli a bit depressing?
Is anyone else still eating the Christmas cheese?
@Brunneria Thanks for the heads up of blue cheese on ribeye steak. Its so scrummy that its something I can eat even when feel rubbish.
Got to go to work tomorrow so I'm now going to sit down and plan my meals for the next week.
Welcome backI'm going to restart logging my food here. I've been having too many lazy "piece of meat" meals lately. I use MyFitnessPal but that's private so logging here gives some accountability.
Yesterday ...
B - Mcdonalds double sausage & egg mcmuffin without the muffin
L - works canteen closed so improvised - 100g of mixed nuts
D - roast belly pork with loads of yummy crackling
S - coffee & cream, 2 glasses white wine
2000 calories, 27g carbs, 140g fat.
Logging will hopefully restore some discipline (although not today because the canteen is still shut so I think it'll be peperami for lunch.
