    D: Chicken & Mushroom Pie without the Pie, Cabbage & Green Bean, a slice of Ricotta Cake

    Due to a mix of bad traffic, work [email protected]"ocks and picking up son from work it was 25.5 hours between dinner Monday and dinner Tuesday, but I dare not call it a 24h fast for fear of upsetting those who set the rules on these things.

    Mr B is getting tired of me saying 'I could live on moussaka' every time the subject comes up. But I could.

    I've just finished a fast, too. Mine was a 24 hour fast which ended at 6pm and not a moment too soon. I definitely couldn't have done another 24 hours. :)

    The dinner I broke my fast with was a rib eye steak with creamy garlicky parmesan cabbage and (as a starter) some mushrooms (whole and raw) marinated in a teaspoon of red wine vinegar, olive oil and yet more garlic.

    All incredibly scrummy :hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry:

    OH watched a programme on TV about the wonders of olive oil (uncooked) and apparently he and I are now to have 20ml of it a day each. Hence the mushrooms....

    @Mongolia . I've just taken it out of the oven and I'm waiting for it to cool so I can try it. I have a fan oven and cooked it for 40 minutes not the 50
