Hello - just come back to the forum
B. My Portobello Egg Benedict (portobello mushroom with wilted spinach, slice of wafer thin ham, poached egg and a tablespoon of hollandaise mixed with 0% yogurt
L. Half avocado with prawns, boiled beetroot and 2 tablespoons of Tesco tuna crunch.
D. Leftovers from last night. 2 lamb chops I'd marinated in a mix of tandoori paste and yoghurt with curried roasted cauliflower slices and spinach.
Snacks were walnuts and a less sugar latte
Welcome back! That portobello egg benedict sounds gorgeous :)

And only 8g carbs! Mixing the hollandaise with some 0% yoghurt keeps the calorie count around 240. It is gorgeous by the way. I love breakfast - best meal of the day for a diabetic

Today:

Breakfast: Chipolata sausages and grilled tomato
Lunch: Nothing
Dinner: Chicken wings done in a spicy rub, salad and sour cream dip

Yesterday:
B: none
L: none
S: dark hot choc in cafe. v un-sweet. liked it a lot. It was basically a small glass of milk with dark choc stirred into it. No additional sugar.
D: homemade low carb kerala chicken with cauli rice and sugar snaps.

Today:
B: bacon, egg and potato hash, with a peppermint tea
L: none
D: chicken thighs baked with cheddar and pepperoni, and whatever veg I find in the fridge :)

B Very large boiled egg, half Lidl roll, toasted, buttered & Marmited
L Spiced berry fruit crumble with almond flour & nut topping, yoghurt & double cream, preceded by cheesey biscuits made from surplus crumble topping plus egg plus cream cheese with more cream cheese on top & black olives
D will be courgette "pasta" ribbons with leeks and smoked mackerel and, er, probably cream cheese and some sort of mustard since I forgot to get any more horseradish
Mrs DeeJay is off to her kayak club dinner of steak and chips, families not invited.

B&L - Boiled egg and about 6 squid rings out of an M&S pack while on the move.
(Go swimming early morning with grandson No 1 so no time to cook but that was followed today by a hunt for a new Christmas tree and shopping so was out until 5.30pm)
D. M&S Chicken and red wine casserole with cauliflower mash and spinach.
This is a new addition to the gastropub range and is really tasty at 210 calories and 10 g carbs. I needed something quick after the shopping exertions.

Yesterday:

Bacon & Fried Egg sarnie (2 slices LivLife) and Tea

5 cold Buffalo Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Dressing (previous evenings leftovers)

Venison Steak pan fried, with a Blackberry sauce (beef stock, balsamic, redcurrant jelly & fresh blackberries) with Celeriac Mash and green veggies

Beacon Blue Goats Cheese (Tesco Finest, my #1 favourite ATM) with 2 Carrs Melts.

Breakfast : scrambled egg with a little cheese - 3 eggs.

Lunch : 2 small salmon steaks - steamed. Mixed veg 250g - microwaved.

Due to have a sirloin steak with veg for dinner, and will have an orange and some yoghurt for a snack later on.

B. All Bran with skimmed milk, 2 small pieces of homemade wholemeal and rye toast with spread and Marmite
L. Homemade chicken chinese style with noodles broccoli and ginger
S Peppered tinned mackerel fillet with one very small baked potoato, beetroot and a few garlic olives.

Breakfast - My Veggie Frittata
Basically any veg I have (this morning it was tomato , peppers , mushroom and spinach) fried in my wee frittata pan and then an egg mixed with a bit yoghurt and parsley. Shove it under the grill to cook the top after you cook for a few mins on the hob.
Coffee
Lunch was a snack. Tea, 3 walnuts and 2 Lotus coffee biscuits (I feed the family tonight)
Dinner - will have a Campari with soda and a white wine spritzer
Food will be having chicken pakora and little lamb kebabs which I've spiced. Also onion baggi

Predictive gave a odd thing there
Onion bhaji for everyone else and normal 70 odd g naan but I've made the low carb naan for myself. Main is a spiced chicken with roasted curried cauliflower and cauliflower rice for me - pilau for everyone else
Mixed berries with whipped cream to finish

I love Sundays!

B. Tiny amount of Greek yoghurt

L. Prawn cocktail. A rasher of bacon, slice of black pudding, a sausage, mushrooms.

D. I haven't been eating fried food and didn't feel well after lunch. I had a few raspberries and a pot of pomegranate.

Today:

Breakfast: All you can eat breakfast buffet at Toby Carvery. So.... sausages, lots of bacon, fried eggs, mushrooms and a scoop of baked beans

Lunch: Costa decaff with one and a half jugs of cream (one jug isn't enough, two jugs is too much - me? Picky?)

Dinner: Lamb shank braised in rose wine and shallots, couple of chantenay carrots, broccoli and cauliflower

Snacks: Prosecco (lots), Comte cheese (yum!) and.... yes.... my naughtiness of the day - four dates :rolleyes:

B: LC breakfast muffin with egg and bacon. Maccies eat yer heart out!
L: a little Kerala curry with Konjac rice (which is now available in Tescos! Yay!!!)
D: homemade burger, no bun. With cheese, green beans and broccoli

I noticed the Konjac rice and non smelly too! No more rinsing. I use a portobello mushroom as a "bun" if I make burgers.

B: Yoghurt
S: Fish soup, cheese and celery

But Lunch....

Mise en Bouche
Croustillant de Crustaces sur coulis Langoustines
Gigolette de canard aux Agrumes, Millefeuille de pommes de terre, legumes
Craquant chocolat, Panna cota fruits rouge

this after a wine tasting and washed down with another half dozen wines

Breakfast - 40 gm of porridge made with water.

Mid-morning snack - half a small ham & cheese sub.

Lunch - baked eggs with sardines and pinch of grated cheese.

Looking to this evening I'll be having a pork loin chop with mixed veg for dinner.

As a late snack - 9pm - I'll be having the other half of the sub I had this morning.
