I have a leather bracelet. I am getting a necklace for Christmas cos my work interferes with the wristband. My ring is now too big on my finger so I can put both on it and wear it while I'm working! Always make sure you tell the people you work or socialise or to school?? What's your jazzy new band is for!
I carry a home card in my wallet which states I'm T2 and more importantly that I'm on a controlled opiate every twelve hours. If I was in a car accident or similar and couldn't communicate there is a danger of me going into withdrawl and possibly fitting but they wouldn't have a clue why. They also might want to fill me with opiates that I'm already full of and could easily od me.
I have a couple silicon wrist bands saying Type 1 diabetic that I wear for swimming, going to the gym and festivals.
I have a charm bracelet that I got on eBay it has my information ie type 1 and insulin pump but I have a couple of personal charms that I had made to make it a bit less medical
