Sorry,@Evelynross, for getting the wrong end of the stick. Yes, that's frustrating. My lchf journey has been stop-start. I've lurched in the right direction, but with 'unexplained' high blood sugars at times as in my previous posts, it's a pain.

Morning! A slightly better 6•9 mmol/l today. I'm usually in the 7's lol.
Couldn't find my meter and test strips before bed, so dug out some spares and guessed 3 units.
Found my meter and test strips when I got up. Of course.
Clinic today, yay.
thought type 2 don't get hypos? I'm really trying, I've never walked so
I had a Babybel before going to bed to help with liver dump but reading was higher at 7.8

Well I decided not to eat this morning and my reading has gone up from 7.8 to 8.1.
That may be Dawn Phenomenom. Usually puts me up 0.7 to 1.5 mmol/ml within 30 mins of waking. I've been experimenting with taking 1 unit of bolus to counteract it as soon as I wake up, seems to be working.
8.5 this morning - it's the last day of my work trial and it looks like mum's going to be in hospital for longer than we thought
