Hi All happy Sunday. I am stuck in a rut today is 8.1 need to find more motivation. @mojo37 you really are inspiring me though.
Keeping BG in check is a daily challenge @PenguinMum, but well worth the effort.

Logging my results on this forum, it must be said, helps to keep me incentivised, especially when readings drift upwards due factors beyond our control like infection. Other members' success like @mojo37 is inspiring too, as you say.

It helps to focus on the many delicious foods we can safely eat, as I know you do, and not dwell too much on those high carb 'goodies' that we really shouldn't have.

6.7 at 7:07, rising to 7.5 at 8:17.
I'm thinking maybe have something protein first thing to stop that rise.
Given time and a consistent LCHF lifestyle, your FBG readings should gradually fall @May Mic, so the rise will begin from a lower starting point and will be less pronounced.

Meanwhile, IME, you can stop a rise with a modest snack; a teaspoon or two of sunflower or pumpkin seeds or four to five almonds or hazelnuts should do the trick without affecting your appetite at breakfast.
