Type 2 Which essential oil is helpful in diabetes?

    I have come to know that essential oil is helpful in diabetes. What are your views?

    I'd think it quite unlikely but that doesn't mean I'm right of course.
    Could you tell us what you mean by "I have come to know"? Do you know by experience or have you read about it?

    I am about the same, we use olive oil as well.

    Than scented stuff tastes like kakka when used for cooking...

    Well I suppose if you were to drink it your blood sugars would drop due to the alcohol content. But perfumes contain a whole bunch of toxic substances so I would not recommend it.:)

    My to go perfume is a rub for my rheumaticy joints !! It was brought from Africa by my Granddaughter pongy but effective

    I am a believer in essential oils.
    Their is a lot of evidence on this site that supports stress raising blood glucose.
    Any essential oil that is stress relieving is therefore helping diabetes in that situation.
    The gold standard has to be lavender oil.
    Give it a try!
