Will the use of Insulin hasten or offset diabetes?

Would the use of Insulin allow the beta cells in the pancreas to have their life time extended due to a decreased workload?

Or would the use of insulin hasten the onset of diabetes down to downregulation?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by our question, but it is thoughtthat aggressive treatment with insulin can put T2 into remission in thee early stages
