Hi all.

I'm in a panic. I've got major pins and needles in my left foot today.

Could it be foot nurothapy? Help!

Are you struggling with loss or balance or coordination?

Also, tingling is normally accompanied by sharp pains. Any of these familiar?

Neuropathy :-(
You've most likely had your leg in an awkward position and pinched a nerve and would have got the pins & needles whether diabetic or not. In my experience neuropathy doesn't begin suddenly but builds up slowly over time.
I wouldn't worry about it but saying that, if it persists after you have walked around for a while then go get it checked.

Agree with longindetails that if it was Neuropathy the symptoms would have come on gradually rather than having a sudden attack of pins & needles, but it goes without saying, if the P & N's persist or if it comes and goes then you should get your feet looked at.

Well done on stopping smoking :)

I used to smoke (like a lil chimney) it's not super-easy to stop and stay stopped at first - I felt worse before I felt better - but your body will defo thank you in the long run :)
