Re: Wristbands

It's totally up to you and your circumstances. Why ask us XD

If you believe you need a bracelet because you might pass out somewhere strange or to show someone in say a restaurant (to avoid awkwardly refusing certain foods etc) then get one. Or make one .

We can't say yes or no to you telling other people you are diabetic *scratches head*

Now if you want advice on what kind of bracelet or necklace or whatever you could buy/make (could get something engraved, braid something out I cotton, order one of those jelly bracelets etc) the. I'm your girl.

There isn't a right or wrong answer to this question. It could cost you pennies so doesn't really matter.

Though if you are prone to hypos and you have had times you needed help from people (who would need to know you are diabetic) then thatd tell you whether you want an alert bracelet or not??

Re: Wristbands

I have one for several reasons, and have no qualms about wearing it
1) I exercise alone, so if I'm found by the side of the road anyone will know my diagnosis and blood type
2) I travel to some strange places
3) it gives my wife's phone number so she will also be informed about it
