Trying out YouTube - I thought this was rather lovely and wanted to share it with others! Hope you find it inspirational
Hi, Yes, it is for the mind, I am very interested in Buddhist philosophy and the way the buddhists are able to withstand so much pain, hardship etc through their beliefs and practices forever working towards enlightenment, and heaven knows we could all do with a bit of that in this world! As you know, the mind is a wondrous thing, and most of use barely know how to use it not sure why link did not work, I followed the directions by clicking on YouTube button, pasting the url address in, tried without the XXXXX, i.e.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFBsqhVps4, tried with it between the code i.e. http://www.youtube.com/watch?vXXXXX=QFBsqhVps4, and behind the code http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFBsqhVps4XXXXX! Am I missing something radical here?
Re: Young Buddhist Monks sing Love Song-The version that works! This works, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQFBsqhVps4 Enjoy!
That's better. There may be a problem with the YouTube linking ? I shall contact the Administrator and get it checked out.
Note the little fella at the back towards the end of the video, didn't look to happy and certainly didn't want to join in with the singing! I do love their philosophy and believes, and the sacrifices they make, shunning our modern way of life for a more tranquil and peaceful existence. Regards Nigel
Nigel, Thanks for the information, I would love to visit the temple, I also love the buddhist philosophy and way of life, if the whole world took the same stance think what a different place it would be! I will google the temple, as I say I would love to visit it sometime, my great, never to be realised dream would be to visit Tibet under Tibetan rule though! Wishing you a peaceful and happy New Year
Nigel, I have found the website for the temple: http://www.samyeling.org/ What a wonderful place! It is so nice for you to live in a beautiful place and so near to this wonderful temple. Thanks again for pointing me to this Wishing you a peaceful and happy New Year. Kathleen
