Diabetes charity the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation has experienced great success following their move to a new home.
The JDRF, who focus on trying to find a cure for type 1 diabetes, moved to their Southampton premise seven years ago. Since entering the area in 2002, the diabetes charity has raised around one million pounds.
The team are now moving to a larger office to continue preparing for Walk to Cure Diabetes this September. JDRF regional development manager Nicki Gerrard reportedly commented: “Since JDRF established an office in this area in 2002, we have raised around £1m. This would have been impossible without the help and support of Ford Motor Company and we really appreciate all they have done for us.”
