A fresh new diabetes awareness campaign that is focused on patient interaction and education to help manage diabetes everyday has been rolled out in India. The campaign is underway in more than 40 countries.
The managing director of pharmaceutical company Lily India, Sandeep Gupta, reportedly commented: “Through this patient-focused programmen, we will seek out and provide health care professionals with educational resources, including proper training and materials to help positively impact the lives of patients with diabetes .”
Lily have launched the campaign alongside the International Diabetes Federation . The campaign kicks off with a Conversation Map – a tool to help discussion. S.M. Sadikot reportedly commented: “The Conversation Map tool offers a distinct contrast to the traditional methods of diabetes education by providing a dynamic, small group, discovery-learning experience.”
