Leading UK diabetes charity Diabetes UK are running a fresh new challenge to raise funds for people with diabetes . The money raised will contribute towards the diabetes research funding program run by the charity.
The new challenge, a walk along the river in London, is known as the Bridges of London walk. The walk commences at Westminster Bridge, and proceeds along the river to reach its conclusion at Tower Bridge.
The walk is around five miles in length, and as well as the river Thames, participants can enjoy seeing some of the most well known London sites along the way. Participants in the walk have no minimum, but as much money as possible will help to fund research into diabetes treatment .
The walk will not be guided or sign posted, and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
