The new Diabetes.co.uk Forum is (finally) here! You asked, and we listened! Finally, after hours and hours of technical work, we've managed to get the old Diabetes.co.uk forum onto phpBB. It was an arduous task (with many cups of coffee), but we got there! What does that mean? Well, that means a quicker forum, pages that load in half the time they did before, less (well, hopefully zero) spammers, and lots more customisation! You can now fully edit your profile too! All of the posts that were on the old forum should all be on the new Diabetes.co.uk forum, however some links may have been truncated during the move over. Some elements of your profile may also now be blank, however, you can edit these on login. How do I use the new forum? Simply login with your username and password, and voila! Due to increased security on the new Diabetes.co.uk forum, if your password does not seem to work, click on 'I have forgotten my password' and enter your username and email address to be sent your login details. You will then be able to login and reset your password. If you do not know your username/email address combination, simply re-register for the forum. What do I need to know? The forum works in much the same way the previous forum did. You need to be logged in to make comments, but can read without being signed in. However, any posts or members we've had since 11:00 AM today may find they have to re-register. If you have any problems with your usual username, we suggest signing up again - that way there'll be no issues. Over the next week we'll be personalising profiles so you can add alot more information about yourself - so stay tuned.
