carina62 :D 500 mg per day? 1000mg daily, is usually the min dose isn't it? Persevere, taking Metformin gets better the longer you take it. In my humble opinion, metformin side effects can depend on what other meds you may be on. Also your diet can sometimes cause digestive system problems...

Hi Keli Don't worry, as long as you have your Diabetic eye checks done regularly then they will tell you if there is a problem. I get BR on some tests but gone on the next test! Been Type 2 for 20 years and only on 1000mg Metformin daily since then. Good luck.:watching:
