Been IDDM since April 1984 when I was 16...now on Insulin pump & Metaformin for diabetes. Got an ill health retirement in 2008 from both pension companies whose independant medical professionals agreed with my then GP that I would not work again - I had become hypo unaware & suffered a mental breakdown...
