Thanks and you too, I'm on insulin now 4 times a day and have to go to the hospital every 2 weeks to get checked on. I'd rather take metformin as I hate needles lol

Hi, I've just found out I'm pregnant 2 days ago and I don't know if I should keep taking my metformin and if it's safe to keep taking them? As I won't be able to talk to my diabetic nurse until Tuesday.

They were bad at the start but last week they were going down which was good and now there going up again, I don't understand it.

I have to wait for a letter to come from the hospital to go to my clinic to find out, I'm on metformin twice a day.

I was just diagnosed as diabetic the start of July and I don't know what type of diabetic I am, I haven't been told and my diabetic nurse told me that I have to wait for a letter from the hospital to come through to go and get my bloods taken to find out then which isn't for another 5-6 weeks...
