Hi,
just diagnosed with type 2 last week and it now all makes sense. I have always been a runner and run 10 & 5k, I walks and do HIT workouts. over the ast year to 6 months these have all been proving difficult with being so tired, permanently thirsty and going to the bathroom what seems like every five seconds. also instead of losing weight with training i was not instead it seems to have piled on much to my distress.
i found when running i would get blurred vision and after compelting a run (where normaly i would be feeling on top of the world), all i would want to do is and i do is fall asleep for 2 to 3 hours, i can sleep all night (apart from going to the bathroom) and when i wake i feel like i have been on a night out.
i went to my GP over a month ago he requested a full blood tests everything came back ok except for blood sugars they did a blood fsting glucose which came back last week at 71, i have the Diabeted Doc Wed this week and i sure hope to get more of an understanding as the shaky/disorientated feelings, nausea, feeling of hunger like i have never known and sleeping all the time, i could literally put my head on my desk at work and fall asleep.
