My first project is an art painting project, showing young children what having diabetes is, what it's like, how they can manage it, and that they didn't cause it, and it's not shameful and they aren't alone. It will depict fictional creatures and animals with facts about what diabetes is and how to manage it. I need ideas for those facts.
My second project is a crochet project. I will crochet things for children in the local children's hospital who are being diagnosed with type one diabetes. Or type two. I need stuffed animal amigarumi patterns, blanket patterns, and any other patterns you think kids will like, for all sorts of things. I live in Florida, so please no scarves, jackets, etc as they will not be needed down here.
Any help with my projects is appreciated!
