low carb snacks

So I'm looking to change how I eat, lower my carbs etc etc, so thought i'd do a little step and swap my snacks to low/non carb ones, been recommended corn on the cob, but since I don't want just that, what else would you guys and gals suggest? nothing too pricey please, on a very limited budget!

I wouldn't recommend corn on the cob at all as it is high carb.

What @Avocado Sevenfold said - sweetcorn is used to make sugar syrups, etc.
