Hb1ac of 48 - Good?

I have just got my last HB1ac result and it was 48, is this good. I assume it is.

I have been off the glicazide for over 3 monthes now and seem to be managing it with diet.

The only real foods that I have completely cut out are cereal and rice, still eating bread, pasta and having real ale!

I would like to get it lower but my GP says that seems to be fine.

I think thats realy good,what was it before?
Mine was 53 in June and I was told that was good ,but I aim for 48 .

It was 125 at xmas then 53 march, 46 May

I aren't actually convinced I am fully diabetic tbh

I am 5ft 11 10st 4lbs, I was 12st 10lbs about a year ago

well done, you are managing it well. just dropping the 2.5 stone will help
as to you not being convinced, don't trust me trust the numbers, you are a diabetic.that is managed by diet and glicazide.

thanks, your right but can be hard at times.

I do think that people on here are sometimes people on here are too anal about things. You still have to live your life and enjoy it from time to time.
