Hi all
Well I'm new to the forum. I was diagnosed as type 2 nearly a year ago but was just put on medication and left to my own devices with no advice or support. I live in Cyprus. So in all honesty I have not really been dealing with the diagnosis but having had some health problems of late which have either been aggravated by my diabetes or as a result of I'm not sure but it has made me sit up and realise I need to take stock of what is actually happening to me. I have finally bought myself a test kit ( I was told I don't need one to just go to the hospital if I felt I needed it checked outwith the times I visited my gp), but feel I need to have more of an understanding of what my body is doing and how I can manage it better. I look forward to finding out what the forum has to offer.
Thanks
