Can I ask you MTB guys a question?
What do you do about food pre ride and during the ride? I was doing a couple of rides at weekends, a short 10 to 15 miles ride and a longer 28\30 mile ride. Unfortunately I have been off my bike for about 10 months now (calf muscle issue) so I wont be going any where those distances for a while, but I am determined to get back to cycling in the new year but having only recently been diagnosed with type 2 I need to be fully prepared.
Unfortunately I am no where near central Scotland, Bournemouth is a little bit south of you
