What are the good choices on meters for data junkies? (I'm Mac)

The SD Codefree is the meter probably most frequently used by pay-your-own-way type 2s because of the much lower cost of strips, but since I don't use this or a MAC, I can't offer further info.

I started with the SD Biosensor Codefree but the software is Windows only and not overly exciting! I was using it on an old Windows XP Netbook which was as slow as anything and driving me potty so I have changed my meter to a Freestyle Insulinx. The software for this is Mac compatible (I have a Mac) and is much more user friendly with plenty of data to be gathered and stored. The strips are more expensive but as long as you don't need to test 10 times a day it should give you the data you require.

The Bayer Contour Next will do there is a video on YouTube it has a USB connection I have one a nice meter
The windows software is good.
