I use it as my spare too. I quite like it but it's a bit slow, which I guess doesn't matter. The thing that does matter to me is that in the mid to low blood sugar readings it always reads higher than my one touch. I'm pretty sure my one touch is accurate from the way I feel on low readings so I don't think I would switch full time to accu-chek mobile.
I guess it's what you get used to and you feel most accurately reflects your physical state. I've used the control solution and it's within prescribed parameters but still when it gives me a 4, I'm feeling pretty hypo and checking against one touch or freestyle neo, the mobile gives a higher reading. No idea why! The one touch verio gives higher readings too. I guess I would get used to it but at present I'll stick to one touch.If you are not sure if accurate, just ask accu check to send you some control solution, it is free.
