I follow the 5:2 way of eating. It works for me and keeps my weight down. Yesterday was a fast day and my blood glucose levels stayed with the 5 range all day and was 5.5 going to bed last night, three hours after eating. Normally the day after a fast my fasting levels are the best of the week but this morning fasting levels were 6.6 dropping to 6.1 five minutes later. Liver dump? Or maybe not enough calories yesterday, as I had only had a round 375 calories yesterday. Should I eat a little more before bed on a fast day?
