Freestyle Libre - what's involved & is it worth it..?

I'm on the libre now and I love it...I had to wait six months waiting list on Abbots website but they contacted me when it got to my turn, and now I can reorder up to 2 sensors at a time. The sensor is comfortable(I'm on my 3rd one now). The placing of the sensor looks scared, but it honestly...

Eeekkkkk!! Got my libre!! Love it already. So easy to apply. I was dead nervous of pushing the applicator on my arm, but was painless. The scan is near on a match to my actual BG prick, so far anyway. Looking forward to analysis, further investigations, lol...[emoji38]

    Insulin leakage

I agree with noble, if I inject quickly, my Lantus leaves a bit of liquid, as if it's overflowed... If I go slower, and more gentle, tends to all go in. It does hurt sometimes( I do Lantus in thigh) other times, it's painless, haven't figured out why yet though. Good luck!

Hi tylers.. I've been diagnosed bout 8 months now, and I've been wondering the same thing. My sons only 7, and I don't want to worry him. When someone feeds you coke by mistake....

I only check draught coke/Pepsi... If out of bottle, I tend to trust it. You just pop the end of the strip in the liquid quick, and you get a result.

When someone feeds you coke by mistake....

Yes, I always use my accu check meter to test 'diet' coke. Will read 'hi' if it's full fat coke, and usually .5 or less if diet, happy days !!! Also great theatre in front of your bemused pals, lol[emoji1]
