after going through hell to wean my teenage son off Cannabis - personality changes,mood swings,self harming I could NEVER advise anyone to take it - even if it cures your diabetes ! It may well help symptoms of Diabetes but the price is too high. :thumbdown:

I am - supposedly - on a low carb diet .I`m an overweight ,62 year old Type 1 currently taking 20 units of Levemir and 12 units of Victoza per day. I`m on my second month of Victoza - despite carefully watching my diet am so disappointed as I don`t think I have lost much weight at all. I suppose I thought it was a miracle cure for my weight problems but I feel as though I have let my Consultant and myself down - cos it`s just not happening...

my Diabetic Consultant has told me - DO NOT DRINK ASPARTME sweetened drinks - I already knew that they could cause body damage ,if you MUST have a sweetener a little sugar is safer !
