Most Doctor's have no idea about diet and that is why they refer you to a Dietitian. Our Dietitian actually worked on the Keto diet for epilepsy study and is on board with what we are doing. In simple terms, you wouldn't give and Alcoholic alcohol, so why would you give a Diabetic carbohydrates.
