Between seeing the pre-pregnancy diabetic clinic and telling my doc - it did take a couple of months. By the time I saw the specialist nurse, I fell pregnant. As such, she rushed me through the process and was saw the antenatal clinic etc within a week. The early clinics I was at (5-6 weeks) they didnt do much, they just do paper work and check on my BG, not alot else. At the same time they put me on daily monitoring of BG and then metformin. Booked in a scan at 7 weeks. Would keep chasing and find out though! Good luck... and wishing you have healthy 9 months! x [/QUOTE]
