Last update in 2015. As stated in my blog, I am in great control., in ketosis and hovering just below unless intermittent fasting. I couldn't be better, next endocrinologist appointment in May next year. All my life signs are in the normal range. Have found myself not testing as much simply because I plan out my meals according to my work and family duties. I think I have this condition well and truly reined in. No hypos since my last OGTT in February. That is truly amazing! I still get the odd symptoms but nothing as bad as when in hypo hell! My weight is still going down, hovering around 11and a half stone, that's over five stones or as near **** that's gone! I cannot stress enough how a very low carb lifestyle has changed my life for the better. I cannot thank enough the people who have helped me, especially my consultant, who recognised my condition for what it was, he has taught me things and with my own research and this forum, I now understand and can help others who might not know what is going on with their bodies! We have now have our own forum, with help from the diabetes.co.uk team and @Brunneria, we have took a step forward in getting the condition of Reactive Hypoglycaemia more known and helping others looking for knowledge. Very low carb helps with control and weight loss. How simple is that? And it works! I will start a new thread in the new year. So best wishes for Christmas and the new year! A special seasons greetings to all RH ers! Have a wonderful low carb Christmas! Nosher.
