Diabetes!, high sugar levels, low sugar levels, people who think they are diabetes experts when they have no clue!
Hi! Need help please!

I'm a type 1, on an insulin pump. Usually have well controlled sugars.

I've recently come of the contraceptive pill and not have a period yet.

My husband and I are trying to conceive so we had sex on 10th and 15th Aug.

Since the 10th my blood sugars keep spiking. I do a correction dose, it comes down then straight back up again.

I've changed my cannula site several times but no difference. I'm otherwise we'll, no infections.

Could this be a (very) early sign of pregnancy?

Sorry for TMI but I'm so confused as to what is causing this!

Thanks in advance :)

I guess the only thing to do would be to do a test in about 4 weeks time..
I wouldn't think that you would be having signs that quickly as if so you'd only be a week pregnant and not alot is happening to effect your blood sugars..

I'd say you should contact your diabetic nurse/team :)

I had very tight control pre-pregnancy but started getting unexplained highs at 10 and 11dpo and got my positive pregnancy test at 12dpo (days past ovulation/conception). If you are pregnant and conceived on the 10th then a test in about a weeks time should give you an accurate result.
