Hi thanks for the add.
I have been diagnosed type 2 for 6 months. Low carbs and exercise. Nurse tried me on metformin, dapagliflozen and Sitigliptin and I can’t tolerste
Any of them due to gerd and them
Irritating my stomach. Hb1ac was 77 now 52. Do you think it’s ok to carry on with diet and exercise or is there a medication that doesn’t affect GERD ?

Hi @pippa_sweet01 and welcome to the forum.

Well done for reducing your HbA1c score from 77 mmol/mol to 52 in 6 months. You may be able to improve on your latest HbA1c result without medication, provided that you maintain a low carb lifestyle.

Do you test your blood glucose at home or rely on HbA1c tests?
