Car hypo treatment

I use mini packs of Skittles - they seem immune to hot (and cold) temperatures, they are easy to count by feel if one decides on a pre-emptive glucose top up while driving (~1g per skittle), taste decent (which admittedly might be a downside if you share your car) and also mean I can take one pack of my stash with me when I leave the car if I think I may start to run low.
I took note of your skittles and thought what a great idea to leave in the car. I showed them to hubby and he said they were too chewy and worried it would pull the fillings. However your idea really helped as made me think there must be something else with a hard candy coat and I found Minstrels. He was happy with them and they worked really well. If it weren’t for your suggestion I wouldn’t have thought of the Minstrels. Thank you

For me......jelly babies. Numerous brands around. I use Tesco own brand. 3 or 4 do the trick subject to check 15 minutes after consumption.
