Been T1 for 57 years now, not too badly controlled with recent HBA1C of 50.
On day three of Clarithromycin for an infected wound and last night was a nightmare going hypo throughout and still this morning. Thanks to Librelink, that alarm is enough to wake the dead. Anyway, this morning I asked Dr Google about the clarithromycin and appears I can now at least blame something other than myself!
On the plus side, leg has significantly improved and my next HBA1C should be better
So just a cautionary note to anyone else, keep a very close eye on your levels when taking this stuff.
