hi everyone,
t2 on insulin - have now decided to get on top of this as getting nowhere with out of date drs. i have to fund my own libra2 as i am not t1 and have been taking dapag... and altering my insulin accordingly. i have just been told by dr. that they are withdrawing this med. because it could cause hypo. my insulin requirements have been dropping which i would have thought was a good thing but it would seem the drs. do not ytust me to manage my own meds. i have been a diabetic for 20 years and have always followed drs. advicebut it would seem they just want to promote insulin use. i test my ketones every day but this is not acceptable. i dont wish to be controversial but my own research indicates that the general consensus for treatment of t2 has not progressed in decades.
would love to hear any thoughts.
