Just joined. Didn't know there was this page.what about disabled who also have diabetise and may not be able to administer insulin why is there not more help or maybe I'm looking in wrong place.

Depending on the type of disabilty, some gadgets might help, instead of needing another person to adminster insulin and test blood glucose eg if poor sight is the problem, there are insulin pens which click so you can count the number of units you dial up, plus there are blood glucose meters which have large screen numbers or which talk; if hand dexterity is the issue, then there are plastic pieces which can be attached to insulin pens which make them easier to hold and dial up and inject.
