Explain pump feature please!

Maybe this is a stupid question but I need to know... I use the Medtronic Mini med pump... What is the difference between the Square wave bolus & the dual wave bolus feature? In lay mans terms!

Square wave gives the bonus over a set amount of time. So you could have 3 units over 3 hours. (It's useful for slow release carbs)

Dual wave bolis allows you to split a dose of insulin. So you could set a dose of 10 units and have 5 units straight away and the other 5 stretched out the same as a square wave. (Useful for high carb meals such as pizza)

Other pumps call the dual wave a multi wave but they are the same.
