Hi

I have been put onto Fiasp Insulin around 6 months ago. I'm finding difficult to regulate BS. Just wondering how anyone else on this insulin is coping with it.

Works for me. 5 years now I think so can can barely remember novorapid days.
Although if my bs is in the teens, I find I need a lot more to bring it down. Always tends to be 2 correction doses. Perhaps it's just me.

There are a few threads on this (the Search function at the top of every page will help you find them).

But a brief summary of my experience
- it took some time to get used to
- it does not last as long out of the fridge as NovoRapid
- the speed at which is works is very dependent on my BG when I bolus. Avoiding double figures as much as possible is important because it appears to turn to water for an hour.
- some people find it stops working fast for them after a few months

Many thanks for your replies. I was on Humalog and finding the Fiasp insulin very hard to get used too.
