Hi everyone
My name is Donna and I’m 47 and live in Wiltshire.
I have been T2 diabetic for 13 year and it has been some rollercoaster. Up and down for many years in denial if I’m honest.
Started talking to a new Specialist Diabetic Nurse 6 weeks ago and has made me more positive than I have been in years.
After fighting for years I now have a Libre on prescription and it has changed my life just in that time.
I have had a big phobia of hypos and the way it makes me feel so have always had higher sugars for that reason. I feel I am now in control and think more before I eat.
I have 3 Injections a day and a long lasting injection in the morning. Some days I still feel alone and like I am drowning. I don’t think that feeling will ever go away.
I would like to get into more healthy home cooking and will be trying to plan my meals each week to make it easier on myself with less pressure.
Thank u all for listening
