Hi unfortunately no not everyone can have one, you have to have the backing of your doctor in that they need to say one would be beneficial for your care. This descion is useually based on the NICE guidelines, which at the minute reccomend pumps for people with a HbA1c over 8.5%, and who have trouble with lots of hypos or have a fear of them. have a google and a read of them see if you fit then bring your case up with your doctor, people usually have more success and support from a hospital clinic team than just GP's but some have been approved from a GP as well.
Most people find it a bit of a postcode lottery though. Even if they fit all the nice guidelines they, still struggle with gaining access to one. INPUT is a great help to boost your case if you struggle.
