Been asked by DSN to do a basal test on a week day. But I have a problem I work as a Mid Day Meals sup( old fashioned dinner lady), but I start at 11.15 and finish about 13.30 - 13.40. And it will be hard for me to test as I work in a school for those that have learning problems. But if I basal test on weekend or school holiday my bloods change as I'm not so full on. Like this last 2 weeks my bloods have changed as in nursery(not so hard, as smaller people) where as my normal unit can be a bit more of work out. I'm in nursery till Easter, but if I basal test on week ends/holidays, my routine changes. Can I ask my boss to go of area and test, does she have to let me do this??

Your employer is obliged to provide you with a place to test/inject that you can use whilst at work. I would just speak to them and you should be fine.
